Savoy in the Northwest Hills area near Steck Ave. and Cima Serena is a nice infill project with a great near-in location.  It has been delayed some, due to permitting with the City of Austin and architectural plan changes.  Cutting in streets now, Savoy should be ready to open with floor plans next month (December 2011) and have construction underway after the first of the new year.  Six floor plans will be 1 and 2-story Hill Country contemporary.  Homes will be fully appointed.  Brohn Homes builds its homes with many features considered a-la-carte upgrades by most builders.  In Savoy, there will be six floor plans, ranging from 1 and 2-stories and 1,800 to 2,900 square feet priced from the $380′s.

Savoy Location

Located off Cima Serena near Tallwood Drive and Robbie Drive, Savoy is between Cima Oak Lane on the north side of Cima Serena and Cima Serena Court on the south side — part of the Northwest Hills area in what is actually the geographic center of Austin, where Hwy. 183, Capital of Texas Hwy. | Loop 360 and Mopac Expressway | Loop 1 come together.  Twin Mesa is the neighborhood it lies within, just south of Westover Hills and north of Balcones West.  Cima Serena is a street that heads right out to Mopac, about a half mile east.

Savoy Schools

Blessed to be near one of the nation’s best high schools, Savoy sends it children to Austin Independent School District schools.  They are Hill Elementary literally across the street, Murchison Middle School and Anderson High School just two blocks away to the north.  Austin’s  colleges and universities are short commutes.  The University of Texas is most speedily accessed by taking Mopac south seven miles to Windsor Road and/or Enfield Road.  Private schools can also be found nearby, including Arboretum Montessori.
