Creekview Location

Creekview is located very new the three schools resident children attend, a short walk from the outdoor recreation offerings of the Brushy Creek area, and the major roads that transport people to the places they want to go.  It is bordered by Vista Ridge Pkwy. on the east, East Park Street on the south, Golden Arrow Ave. on the north, and to the end of Slate Creek Drive on the west.

Creekview Amenities

For its size, Creekview is decked-out, as many similar D. R. Horton neighborhoods are.  It’s got a nice swimming pool and playscape, common areas for resident enjoyment, and a covered pavilion for gatherings.  Just south of Creek View at Brushy Creek Road is Brushy Creek Park and trail system, which stretches from Cedar Park east across Parmer Lane and into Round Rock.  The trail is maintained by the two cities and offers hiking, biking and jogging.  Along the trail are other recreational opportunities, including splash park, skate park, baseball and softball, soccer, tennis, and kayaking on Brushy Creek Lake.

Not much further away are a number of golf courses.  Closest is Avery Ranch Golf Club, which is just a mile south on Parmer Lane from the Brushy Creek Road intersection.  To the west is Twin Creeks Country Club and to the north is Crystal Falls Golf Course.  Further south is Great Hills near the Arboretum and Balcones Country Club (private) between RM 620 and Capital of Texas Hwy. | Loop 360.  East to I-35 on FM 1431 is the Teravista Golf Course.  Lake Travis is about a 15-minute drive via RM 620 or Cypress Creek Road and Volente Road to Cypress Creek Park.  Sandy Creek Park and Jones Brothers Park are also within 15-20 minutes.

Creekview Schools

Creekview lies within the Leander Independent School District (LISD) and sends children to three very nearby schools: Ronald Reagan Elementary, Artie Henry Middle, and Vista Ridge High Schools.  The brand new Gupton Stadium (2010) is between Reagan Elementary and Vista Ridge High School.

There are many private schools also in the area, including Montessori schools, Kids R Kids and Stepping Stone preschools, Harbor Leadership Academy, Summit Christian (Cedar Park and Leander campuses), Holy Family Catholic School, Hill Country Christian, Primrose School and Round Rock Christian Academy …among others.

Higher education campuses are also not far.  Austin Community College (ACC) has campuses in Cedar Park and Round Rock.  A couple miles east of FM 1431 | University Blvd. and I-35 in Round Rock are new campuses for Texas A&M, Texas State and ACC.  The Cedar Park Library is two miles away on Discovery Blvd. just a few blocks south of FM 1431.

Creekview Shopping and Dining

Creekview’s location near Parmer Lane, FM 1431, Hwy. 183 and Hwy. 183A Toll make travel to area essential shopping very convenient.  Lakeline Mall and Lakeline Plaza are down Hwy. 183, 1890 Ranch Shopping Center is nearby at FM 1431 and Hwy. 183A Toll.  The Railyard is just beyond it to the west.  East lies the Round Rock Premium Outlet Mall and University Oaks Shopping Center, anchored by IKEA.  A few miles down I-35 is the expansive La Frontera Village Shopping area.

Creekview Proximity to Employment

Employment opportunities exist in Cedar Park, where there are five employers with 250 or more employees.  Austin’s employers are all over the city, but some of the closer high-tech and manufacturing jobs are within the 30 minutes to downtown.  They can be driven in one’s own vehicle or commuter train.  Cap Metro has a rail station between Parmer Lane and Hwy. 183 on Lakeline Blvd.
