Sendero Springs has been around for nearly a decade. As it has grown out of its first master planned section, a new one has opened to the south and east of the original section. It doubles the community size and incorporates more natural features — a growing desire of homeowners. The second section will have more natural areas in the forms of 41 acres of greenbelts, caves, parks and trails. Wyoming Springs Drive now goes all the way through to the south and Brushy Creek and its many recreational offerings are now accessible without having to drive miles around to get to them.

Sendero Springs and the Brushy Creek MUD
Sendero Springs is part of the Brushy Creek Municipal Utility District (MUD), which provides many services and amenities to this and other Round Rock communities from FM 1431 to RM 620 and a bit beyond into Highland Horizon. This MUD levies taxes for its services — services that could not affordably be provided any other way. As the populations in MUDs grow, the ability of the MUD to superserve its members also grows. Such is the case with the BCMUD. Currently, BCMUD owns and operates 16 parks, pools and greenbelts. The ones affecting Sendero Springs are Wildcat Trail and North Park on the south side of the community, the Sendero Springs park and pool, the Sendero Springs greenbelt, and the crown jewel at the MUD headquarters: the Brushy Creek Community & Recreation Center.
